The Snow Lion webring is a collection of organizations that are active in the Free Tibet campaign. Our purpose is to educate people on the plight of Tibet under the Chinese regime, and to foster support for international pressure to persuade China to allow Tibet its freedom. The Chinese appear to be engaged in a systematic attempt to exterminate the Tibetans, inasmuch as many women are being sterilized before they even have children. Atrocities are committed against individual peaceful citizens, especially nuns and monks. It has been a highly repressive situation and calls on us to exercise our humanitarian instincts to restore rights to the people.
